📖 Communication Protocols

The module integrates timing calculations (Timing/Baudrate) for the four most popular communication buses in the STM32 ecosystem. The basis for every calculation is the APB (Advanced Peripheral Bus) clock, on which the given interface is connected.

• UART: Calculates the BRR register (Mantissa and Fraction). It also shows the % error resulting from clock division, which prevents garbage characters on the terminal.
• CAN Bus: The most complex calculator. You select the Prescaler and time segments Tq1 and Tq2 to set the network Bitrate and the appropriate Sample Point (recommended approx. 80-87% for long lines).
